1986 – The Twins trade pitchers Bryan Oelkers and Ken Schrom to the Indians and receive pitchers Roy Smith and Ramon Romero in return.

1983 – The Houston Astros trade pitcher Rick Lysander to the land of 10,000 lakes and the Twins gave up pitcher Bob Veselic.

1982 – The Twins sent catcher Scotti Madison and pitcher Paul Voigt to the Los Angeles Dodgers and acquired pitcher Bobby Castillo and outfielder Bobby Mitchell.
