2012 – The Twins trade outfielder Denard Span to the Washington Nationals for minor league RHP Alex Meyer.

1972 – The Twins receive pitcher John Cumberland and outfielder Larry Hisle in a deal with St. Louis but have to give up pitcher Wayne Granger in the process. Hisle played for the Dodgers AAA team in 1972 and then was traded to the Cardinals in October 1972 and then the Cardinals traded him to the Twins about a month later.
