March 18 – This Day in Twins History

2018 – MLB announced that Minnesota Twins shortstop Jorge Polanco has received an 80-game suspension from Major League Baseball for a performance-enhancing substance. Polanco tested positive for Stanozolol, per MLB, which is a violation of the league’s Joint Drug Prevention and Treatment Program. His suspension will begin at the start of the regular season. Personally, I think this was probably the main reason the Twins were so bad in 2018 and why Miguel Sano had such a terrible season.
