
The Minnesota Twins have named Triple-A St. Paul right-handed pitcher Marco Raya and Double AA Wichita right-handed pitcher John Klein as co-Twins Pitchers of the Week, and Double-A Wichita outfielders Kala’i Rosario and Kyler Fedko as co-Players of the Week.

Raya, 22, made one start for the Saints last Sunday vs. Toledo, pitching 5 shutout innings, with three hits allowed, one walk and eight strikeouts. The Laredo, TX native was selected by the Twins in the fourth round of the 2020 MLB draft out of United South HS. MLB has Raya a RHP as the Twins sixth best prospect.

Klein, 23, made one start for the Kernels on Wednesday vs. Springfield, allowing one run on two hits in 5 innings, with one walk and nine strikeouts. The Brooklyn Park, MN native was signed by the Twins as a minor league free agent in August of 2022.

Rosario, 22, played in five games for the Wind Surge, hitting .438 (7-for-16) with a 1.466 OPS, including hitting for the cycle on Wednesday vs. Springfield. The Papaikou, HI native was selected by the Twins in the fifth round of the 2020 MLB draft out of Waiakea HS. Rosario is currently the Twins 20th best prospect according to MLB Pipeline.

Fedko, 25, played in six games for the Wind Surge, hitting .391 (9-for-23) with five home runs, 10 RBI and a 1.527 OPS. The Gibsonia, PA native was selected by the Twins in the 12th round of the 2021 MLB draft out of UCONN.
