1991 – The 1991 World Series opens as 55,108 Twins fans pack the Metrodome to watch the Twins beat the Atlanta Braves 5-2 behind Jack Morris. The Twins only have six hits and Chuck Knoblauch gets half of them when he goes 3 for 3 with an RBI and two steals. Greg Gagne and Kent Hrbek hit home runs to support the cause. Box Score
