In addition they had back-to-back home runs twice as Marwin Gonzalez (4) and Willians Astudillo (1) connected in the second and Eddie Rosario (10) and Miguel Sano (11) connected in the eighth. Rosario was overjoyed to hit his tenth home run of the season while wearing Roberto Clemente’s number 21 in the game. Byron Buxton was the fifth member of the Twins to get a home run in this game. Doumit’s throw also allowed two runners to advance, giving him a third error in the inning. Twins starter P.J. Walters gave up 6 runs in 4 innings on 7 hits and 2 walks and took the loss.
