1965 – Sandy Koufax tossed his second shutout to give the Los Angeles Dodgers a 2-0 victory over the Minnesota Twins and the 1965 World Series in seven games. 50,596 fans watched Koufax pitch on 2 days rest and beat Jim Kaat. The Twins could muster only three hits against Koufax. This is the largest crowd to ever attend a Twins game at Met Stadium.
