2001 – The one millionth fan passes through the turn styles at Hammond Stadium, the spring training home of the Minnesota Twins since 1991 and home of the Twins High A Fort Myers Miracle farm team
1992 – The Twins trade for pitcher John Smiley and send outfielder Midre Cummings and pitcher Denny Neagle to the Pittsburgh Pirates as payment.
