Jimenez, 22, batted .450 (9-for-20) with one double, three home runs, eight RBI’s and four runs scored in five games for the E-Town Twins. Jimenez was signed by the Twins as an undrafted free agent in 2009 . Entering his fourth season in the Twins organization, Jimenez had played in 90 minor league games for the Twins, all in the outfield, hitting .308. Jimenez has hit 4 home runs in Elizabethton this season while playing in 8 games after hitting just two home runs in 90 games over the last 3 seasons. Jimenez who was signed out of the Dominican Republic at the age of 18 bats and throws from the right side and stands 6’2″ and weighs in at about 170.
