Twins record on June 14 games is 

 

1975 – Baltimore Orioles starter Ross Grimsley who came into the game with an 1-8 record shuts out Minnesota at the Met on just five hits. Left fielder Don Baylor who goes 2 for 4 with a double and a home run and first baseman Lee May who is 3 for 5 with a double lead the O’s offense. Eric Soderholm is the only Twin with 2 or more hits. Twins starter Jim Hughes lasts just 2.1 innings. Box Score

The Milwaukee Brewers send outfielder Johnny Briggs to the Twins and take outfielder Bobby Darwin in return.

1961 – Camilo Pascual and the Twins are in cruise control with a 2-0 lead against the KC A’s at Met Stadium and Pascual has 13 strikeouts and allowed just two hits when everything goes to pot in the top of the 8th inning and the A’s score 8 runs with 5 hits and 4 walks and add another run in the ninth and win 9-2. Pascual goes 7.2 innings, strikes out 13 and takes the loss as four of the runs are charged to him. In the process he gives up just four hits but his 6 walks killed him.  Box Score
