2019 – Minnesota Twins announce ballpark enhancements for 2019 season. Gate 34 will expand to include new facilities inside the gate and enhance the fan experience.

The renovation calls for expansion and reconfiguration of the Gate 34 structure, providing two additional entry points (20 total) to maximize fan access and decrease crowd congestion on the exterior of the facility. Expansion of the attached canopy will in turn provide weather protection during security searches and ticket verification activation. The existing topiaries and secondary planters on the north and south side of the plaza will be removed and the remaining footprint will be replaced with green scape. Original planter walls will be top clad with wood to provide alternative seating options for guests. The fan favorite “Golden Glove” sculpture will be moved on the outside north end of the gates and lowered to plaza grade for easier fan accessibility.
