Major League debuts as Minnesota Twins

Since the Minnesota Twins started play in 1961 through the 2020 season there have been 874 baseball players (422 position and 452 pitchers) that have worn a Minnesota Twins uniform at one time or another and I am pretty sure all of them can remember their major league debut. But how many of these players made their major league debuts as Minnesota Twins wearing the Twins colors? This list will give you that answer and will tell you when their major league debut took place and how they came to be Minnesota Twins in the first place.

The first player to make his major league debut in a Minnesota Twins uniform was catcher Ron Henry when he entered the April 15, 1961 game in the fifth inning at Memorial Stadium against the Baltimore Orioles as a pinch-hitter.
The second player and first pitcher to make his major league debut in a Minnesota Twins uniform was RHP Lee Stange when he entered the April 15, 1961 game in the eighth inning at Memorial Stadium against the Baltimore Orioles and pitched the final inning of the game for Minnesota.
